Dr. Rafique Jahan Mahmood
Dr Rafique Jahan Mahmood is an accomplished Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with extensive experience in women’s health, gynaecological surgery, and hospitalist care. Her exceptional academic foundation in physics and engineering, coupled with a decade of professional work that included contributions to NASA, highlights her strong analytical abilities and her unwavering commitment to excellence. Since transitioning into medicine, she has established a distinguished career characterised by compassionate patient care, exemplary clinical leadership, and recognition for outstanding performance across several reputable institutions.
In addition to her distinguished medical career, she is deeply dedicated to philanthropic endeavours in Bangladesh. Since 2021, she has led a mission to uplift impoverished young girls in Ukhia Ratnapalong of Cox’s Bazar by founding and supporting the Dr Rafique Jahan Mahmood Girls’ High School. Her efforts have created transformative educational opportunities and made a profound impact on the academic development and future prospects of adolescent girls within the community.
